Where can I find a wedding band to match vintage engagement ring?
Posted by admin | Under Vintage Engagement Rings Tuesday Sep 29, 2009My engagement ring is nearly 100 years old and I’m having a hard time finding a wedding band that matches.
It is a thin band that dovetails toward a solitaire 1/2ct round diamond. There is a small engraved pattern on each side of the diamond surrounded by mill grain.
Hope you can visualize it from my description.
Why not talk to a jeweler and see if someone can make you a matching ring.
I think the extra expense might be worth it to you.
I think you’ll need to have one custom made.

Look for stores that specialize in antique jewelry or have a ring custom made.
Here are some online resources that have antique jewelry or vintage-inspired jewelry:
Jewels by Erica Grace: http://www.jewelsbyericagrace.com/

My family owns a jewelry store in the midwest that specializes in custom jewelry. We would be able to make you one to match your ring perfectly. Depending on the metal of choice and/or if you want to include any diamond side stones in your custom made band, you could spend as little as $495 to upwards of $1995.
We do ’shadow’ bands that follow every contour of your ring making it look like the two rings were made the same day. Feel free to call or email with any questionss so that we can be of more service!
